911 Massacre : Open letter  to South African Hip Hop .(Part 1)

I thought long and hard about what I was going to do and then eventually I ended up doing it.

Happy Birthday Brother, it is always a blessing to celebrate your day, except today is different because something is pissing me off. South African Hip Hop has grown ,grown to a point that I can fill my whole week playlist with local Jams and then pump that Visa by Tumi on a Monday with my happy face on because Cassper Nyovest is going to drop something new and epic with Reason’s album Cover trending all over like it is the only thing on earth, It keeps people talking ,that’s great. I understand the entertainment industry more than most of you that have new-found fame. AKA is supposed to value life more but then he values the Hype more, Very disappointing for the guy that I used to run the Victory lap with and wanted it all with.

Is this what it has really come to now? I see AKA completely disrespecting the woman that has been with for 3 years just to stay in the press and have everyone talking about him. Known to have ego ok, but draw the line brother. You might not value other things since it is clear new-found fame has gone to your head you even get international  recognition and you are no longer star struck when you are in the same room with some of the greats ,but you have to understand that you are supposed to have gone beyond the level of new found fame because you know everything, You are not growing ,you just entertaining the same level and because you have been in it for a long time you can master it,so much for LEVELS but you are still stooping low.As far as im concerned ,you are supposed to have more than 4 albums out by now.

You are cashing on Cassper Nyovest’s Success and it is really disappointing. I could argue all day  about how better you are than Cassper but then you seize to understand that you are not competing in the right level.There is a reason why you cant compare Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar because they both have lanes and there are generations too. You are supposed to give us music that will live on after you are no more, A beef is only  as Good as the last Best Diss verse,except if your diss track sucks or it is misunderstood like Riky Rick’s response.

You can’t expect Diss tracks to keep floating , this tracks can’t really live on. Composure is a Great Track, just do not expect Kairo to listen to Composure and be proud of her dad. As far as I am concerned Anatii should charge you a R100 000 if you are going to use beats just to make null choices about them.I would say do like K.O but then it would send us back to the comparison theory that is currently trending in your private space.You want to prove yourself to the world so much ,even when you are great you still think low of yourself.

South Africa is not America, We talk about the 911 incident like it’s some cool Movie Trailer while it hurts to them, Going to America is not growing and maturing .Having Niger Collaborations is not all there is to life. I pen this down with a pissed face on because for some weird reason you are losing focus of what life really is.I doubt that you even know what it is.

I heard you saying this is bigger than Meek Mill Drake Beef, only to you, because let’s face it ,All Drake Albums have gone platinum …in a period of 5 years . 4 Studio albums and he only released his first Diss tracks in 2015.I am not against the Beef. I just hope you realize that we are smart enough to seek the actual art even under the beef. Put work in and let it speak for you. We are not easily fooled and we don’t care about most of your stunts even though sometimes are kool .

So many years in the industry and your still about the Beef .You,just like me and others,love and do music because we need to reach out and change lanes and make them,Directing a track to a single human being just because you feel like he hates you is just as stupid and provocative as someone stepping on your foot and saying ‘’sorry,I actually meant to do that’’.I have one question to Kiernan ,who Zinhle fell inlove with.Who would you kill for ?What would piss you off more, A diss track from Cassper or the guy that will be fathering Kairo next?

You are not Kanye West,nor is Bonang Kim Kardashian,Power couple trash falls far behind Mzansi ‘s liking.We respect Good Musik,Love ..We keep it real here.
